This review is from: Intel Core I7 2600S Processor 2.8 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80623I72600S (Personal Computers) Upgraded computer from 4 core i-5 to i7-2600s: acts like 8 cores operating at 2.8 ghz, power consumption decreased from 125 watts to 85-91 watts (measured output of UPS). Runs consistently at 92 - 95 F. using the i-5's heat sink & fan. I participate in stronomy survey's on BOINC, i.e. Einstein (serch for pulsars, SETI/Astropulse (search for intelligent life/search for longer duration pulse signals from star implosions, explosions)... with 24/7 @ 100 usage, the processor is doing great!
